City of Duluth, GA
Community Agenda (2007)

Weitz & Associates worked with the City of Duluth to complete a Community Agenda (the policy part of a comprehensive plan) in accordance with the 2005 local planning requirements.

City of Holly Springs, GA
Comprehensive Plan and Market and Fiscal Analyses (2006-2007)

The firm prepared a comprehensive plan with assistance from Robert and Company and The Jaeger Company. In addition, this project included a market analysis in support of the comprehensive plan prepared by Marketek, Inc. and a fiscal analysis prepared by Weitz & Associates.

City of Flowery Branch, GA
Comprehensive Plan (2005-2006)

Weitz & Associates was lead contractor (with The Jaeger Company) and prepared a comprehensive plan meeting the May 1, 2005, state standards. Flowery Branch is expected to increase in population from 2,000 to 9,000 in a five-year period.

City of Roswell, GA
Comprehensive Plan (2004-2005)

Weitz & Associates was lead contractor in preparing an updated comprehensive plan for Roswell. That plan was prepared under the January 1, 2004, minimum standards. State and regional review was completed in August 2005 and there were no deficiencies found in that review. Although conducted under the 2004 standards, elements of the 2005 standards were incorporated, such as a character area map.

Dawson County and City of Dawsonville, GA
Visioning, Update to Land Use Element and SR 53 Corridor Plan (2004)

Weitz & Associates was lead consultant with Robert & Co. and The Jaeger Company on Phase 1 long-range planning projects, including an update to the land use element of the comprehensive plan.

City of Cumming, GA
Comprehensive Plan (2003)

Weitz & Associates completed a new comprehensive plan for the City of Cumming, the first in the state to meet the new "advanced planning level" requirements of the Georgia Department of Community Affairs' (DCA's) minimum planning standards and procedures (effective in 2004). The comprehensive plan also included a comprehensive solid waste management plan compliant with administrative rule requirements of DCA.
